Kamay ni Hesus (after the Pahiyas) - a late post

After the very tiring but fun trip to Pahiyas Festival 2010, we went to Kamay ni Hesus which is a kilometer away from the town proper of Lucban, Quezon.
Kamay ni Hesus is a popular pilgrimage site during Holy Week and a sidetrip during the Pahiyas Festival in Lucban Quezon. The shrine is located on the slopes of Mt. Banahaw in Barangay Tinamnam, Lucban Quezon.
50 foot statue of Jesus Christ

The shrines large statue of Jesus can be seen from the highway of Lucban. It is a place where serenity and peace meets. Best place to have a retreat.

Take note that, skirts or shorts with a length above the knee is not allowed inside the Shrines Steps (not sure how they call it), which is btw has 292 steps. So if you are eager to take a closer look of the huge 50 foot statue of Jesus Christ and to see the life size figures of the 14 Stations of the Cross, you have to take the 292 steps. Once you get to see the beautiful scenery on top, you’ll just say, “It’s worth it!”.
