if Christmas starts early here in the Philippines, well apparently SUMMER too...
I'm starting to think that everything starts here early... LOL
Climate nowadays is really different. You can feel the summer heat as early as February.
I wish my company will allow us to wear tank tops in the office. LOL
SUMMER is a bitch, i mean it means BEACH. When heat strikes you just want to dip into a cool pool and have a fresh BUKO JUICE.
So i started this year SUMMER with a tour of El Nido Palawan.
Finally!
March 6, 10PM we arrived at Puerto Princesa International Airport (late because of our delayed flight). 11:30 PM that night after dining at KINABUCH we head our journey to El Nido. We took a van since we've missed the last trip of RoRo Bus. It took us about 5 - 6 hours when we reached our destination. (make sure to bring a pillow for your neck - rough road ahead)
La Banane - Hostel, where we'll be staying for the next 2 days - french owned hostel - a nice, cheap and friendly place to stay in El Nido. Best for backpackers.
They have early check in so we didn't have to wait until 2PM (the usual check in time). We started our Day 1 in El Nido with breakfast in La Chupetta - La Banane's resto. The classic Tapsilog with a free Nescafe 3-in-1 coffee.
And before we start our Island Hopping Adventure - we did a little grocery at a mini store in the area.
